What are the standard sizes of blue and tennis courts?
The Rules of Tennis Competition promulgated by the International Tennis Federation and the National Sports Commission stipulate that a standard tennis court shall cover an area of not less than 36.6 meters (north-south length) x 18.3 (east-west width) meters, and this dimension is also the net size of a standard tennis court surrounded by four blocking nets or interior walls of an indoor building. Within this area, the standard size of an effective doubles court is: 23.77m (L) x 10.98m (W), which should leave a margin of not less than 6.40m behind each end line and a margin of not less than 3.66m outside each sideline. Installing net posts in the court, measured in the center of two posts, the distance between posts is 12.80 meters, and the top of net posts is 0.914 meters from the ground.
In case of parallel tennis courts built with two or more pieces connected. The distance between adjacent court sidelines is not less than 4.0 meters. In the case of indoor tennis courts, the clear height over the end line 6.40 meters away is not less than 6.40 meters, and the clear height of the indoor roof over the net is not less than 11.50 meters.
FIBA standard: The entire basketball court is 28 meters long and 15 meters wide. The ratio of the long section: 28:15. The lower edge of the basketball hoop is 3.05 meters from the ground.
I. Court: It is a rectangular solid plane with no obstacles. For the main official FIBA games, the court is measured from the inner edge of the boundary line. For all other competitions, the appropriate department of FIBA, has the right to approve existing courts within the following dimensional ranges: a reduction of 4 meters in length and 2 meters in width, as long as the variations are proportional to each other. The height of the ceiling or the lowest obstacle yield is at least 7 meters. The court lighting should be uniform and of sufficient luminosity. The placement of lighting equipment shall not obstruct the vision of the players. The dimensions of all new courts are to be consistent with the requirements set by FIBA's main official competition: 28 meters long and 15 meters wide.
II. Lines: 0.05 m (5 cm) wide
(a) Boundary: the court boundary is at least 2 meters from spectators, billboards or any other obstacle. The boundary line on the long side of the court is called the sideline, and the boundary line on the short side is called the endline.
(B) the center line: from the midpoint of the sideline drawn a line parallel to the end line is called the center line; the center line should be extended 0.15 meters (15 cm) to each side of the sideline outside.
(C) penalty line, restricted area and penalty area.
1. The penalty line is to be parallel to the end line, and its outer edge is 5.80 meters from the inner edge of the end line; this line is 3.60 meters long. Its midpoint must fall on an imaginary line connecting the midpoints of the two end lines.
2. The ground area formed by drawing two lines from the ends of the penalty line to a point 3 meters from the midpoint of each end line (both measured from the outside edge) is called the restricted area. If you color inside the restricted area, it must be the same color as the coloring inside the center circle.
3. The penalty area is the restricted area plus a semicircle drawn outside the restricted area with the center of the penalty line as the circle and 1.80 meters as the radius. The semicircle in the restricted area should be drawn as a dotted line.
4. The position areas on either side of the penalty area are for players to use when taking penalties. The drawing method is as follows.
(1) The first line is 1.75 meters from the inner edge of the end line, measured along the sides of the penalty area.
(2) The width of the first position zone is 0.85 m (85 cm) and meets the beginning of the neutral zone.
(3) The width of the neutral zone is 0.40 m (40 cm) and is painted with the same color as the other lines.
(4) The second position area is adjacent to the neutral area and has a width of 0.85 m (85 cm).
(5) The third position area is adjacent to the second position area and is also 0.85 m (85 cm) wide.
(6) All lines used to draw these positional zones have a length of 0. 10 m (10 cm) and are perpendicular to the outside of the penalty box sideline.
(4) Center circle: The center circle is to be drawn in the center of the court with a radius of 1.80 meters, measured from the outer edge of the circumference of the circle. If the inside of the center circle is colored, it must be colored the same as the inside of the restricted area.
(E) 3-point shooting zone.
1. 1.25 meters from the sideline, respectively, leading from the end line with two parallel lines.
2. a radius of 6.25 meters (measured to the outer edge of the arc) of a circular arc (semicircle) intersecting with two parallel lines.
3. the center of the circle of this arc is to be at the intersection of the center vertical line of the opponent's basket with the ground. The distance between the center of the circle and the midpoint of the inner edge of the end line is 1.575 meters. Note: If the width of the court is less than 15 meters, the arc is still drawn according to the above 6.25 meters radius.
Basketball court size drawing
The two court baskets are to be made of suitable transparent material, which are whole and have the same hardness as 0.03m (3cm) thick hardwood baskets. They can also be made of 0.03 m (3 cm) thick, painted white hardwood boards.
2, the dimensions of the basketball board are: horizontal width 1.80 meters, vertical height 1.05 meters, the lower edge from the ground 2.90 meters.
3, the appropriate department of FIBA, such as regional committees for regional or continental games, or national federations for all domestic games, also has the right to approve the size of the basketball board with a horizontal width of 1.80 meters, a vertical height of 1.20 meters, and a lower edge of 2.75 meters from the ground.
4. The front of the basketball board shall be flat and.
(1) All lines are drawn as follows.
a. If the basketboard is transparent, use white.
b. If opaque, use black.
c. The width is 0.05 m (5 cm)
(2) The basketboard side holes should be outlined with lines according to paragraph (1) above.
(3) Behind the rim of each basketboard is to be drawn rectangularly as follows.
a, the outer edge dimensions are: horizontal width 0.59 m (59 cm), vertical height 0.45 m (45 cm )
b, the top edge of the bottom edge of the rectangle should be flush with the top horizontal surface of the circle.
5, the basketball board should be firmly placed as follows.
(1) placed at both ends of the basketball court, perpendicular to the ground and parallel to the end line.
(2) Their centers are to fall vertically on the court, 1. 20 meters from the midpoint of the inner edge of the end line.
(3) The pillars of the basketball board should be at least 2 meters from the outer edge of the end line, and in order to be clearly visible to the players of the game, their color should be distinct and clearly distinguishable from the background behind the end line.
6. The wraps on the two basketball boards are to meet the following requirements.
(1) for the bottom and edges of the basketball board, the wrap should cover its bottom and sides, and the side wrap should be a minimum of 0.35 meters (35 cm) from the bottom of the basketball board.
(2) The minimum thickness of the wrap for the bottom hole of the basketboard is 0.05 m (5 cm).
(3) the front and back of the basketball board from the bottom of the minimum 0.02 m (2 cm) to cover, the minimum thickness of the wrap is 0.02 m (2 cm).
